About Programme :
The programme is designed to provide job-based training to future professionals in marketing management to serve business at the local and international context. It is a professionally tailored program to meet the growing demand of well trained and skilled marketing managers who can greatly contribute in demonstrating a critical academic level of thinking; Showing an academic understanding and an analysis of marketing theories, models and techniques; selecting, apply and adapt generic marketing theories, models and techniques appropriate for the Tanzanian context and other NEMs; and demonstrating analytical, planning, implementation and control competences in the marketing related functions.
A candidate seeking admission into masters' degree programmes at Mzumbe University shall hold a relevant academic bachelor degree (UQF level 8) or equivalent with GPA of 2.7 or B grade from a recognized institution of higher learning or a upper second class Advanced Diploma. Applicants with a PASS degree (i.e those who obtained third class in the first degree) will also be considered upon producing evidence of having obtained a postgraduate diploma in the relevant discipline/area of study or equivalent with minimum GPA of 3.0 or B grade from a recognized institution.
- Applicants for MSc. MM must have studied marketing-related subjects at a Bachelor’s degree level.
- Mode of delivery: (Full time/ Part time):
NOTE: All programmes offered at Mzumbe Main Campus are fulltime, day sessions (Mode) and residential. But due to limited accommodation, some successful applicants to pursue their degree at the main campus may be required to seek for alternative accommodation off campus.
- 18 months: twelve months of coursework to be run in two semesters, and a minimum of six months for dissertation work.
