Mzumbe University School of Business (MUSoB) was established in January 2011 following the transformation of the then Faculty of Commerce of Mzumbe University. The School located in Morogoro city in Tanzania.
The School offers a unique opportunity for individuals to develop and grow to become best business managers and practitioners. Our School is known as the Institution that produces the best Accountants, Finance Managers, Marketing Managers and Procurement and Supply Chain Experts. But also through Entrepreneurship Programme and Incubation center, the School has been able to impart entrepreneurship knowledge and skills to our students. Many of our students have been able to employ themselves and create employment for others.
The School is made up of three academic departments: Accounting and Finance, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and Procurement and Logistics Management. The departments offer Bachelor’s Degree programs, Masters and PhD programmes. The School also has a Business Resource and Incubation center which provides an environment for competence based training and learning for students. The center acts as a hub for interactions and linkages with businesses world, public sector and communities and is aimed at filling the knowledge gap in delivering and acquiring business education and skills.
Regarding Consultancy services, the School has best experts who have a good record in providing consultancy services and short courses in the areas of finance, risk management, preparing strategic business plans, and procurement and supply chain management.
The School is an active member of Association of African Business Schools (AABS). It also links in moderation and in other professional activities with local professional boards such as National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) and The Procurement and Supplies Professional and Technicians Board (PSPTB). The School also has adopted the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) as part of Global Initiatives with a mission to inspire and champion responsible management education, research and thought leader-ship globally.
