Mr Stephen Nalailas's profile

 

Mr Stephen Nalaila is an assistant lecturer in the Faculty of Social Sciences of Mzumbe University.He was employed at Mzumbe University as tutorial fellow in the Department of Languages and Communication Studies (2011). He has a Bachelor of Arts with Education (BA.Ed) Geography, Linguistics and Foreign Languages from University of Dar es Salaam (2009). Mr Nalaila also holds a Master’s degree of Education in Comparative and International Studies from Kenyatta University, Nairobi-Kenya (2015). He has attended a wide range of trainings, conferences and seminars on Leadership, E-learning, Quality assurance, Research methods and Publications, both inside and outside Tanzania. Also, he conducts lectures and tutorials in comparative education, Research methods in education, Educational media and technology, Communication Skills in Business and Management. His research interest is on Systems of Education, ICT use in Education, and Quality Assurance in Higher Education. He is currently involved as research assistant in the VRIL-OUS project of Mzumbe University and Belgian Universities which focuses on Strengthening institutional Capacity in Teaching, Research and community outreach services. He is also organising collaboration between Mzumbe University and Jiangxi Academy of Social Sciences of People’s Republic of China. He has published books and papers in Research methods, E-learning, and Comparative education.
